ONCE YOU ARE IN DOLLAR WE ARE EASY TO FIND.
Dollar's centre is Bridge street which is in fact part of the main A91 running from the historic city of Stirling to the world famous St Andrews.
When in Bridge Street find the Castle Campbel hotel on the right hand side and the Bridge guest house opposite on the left hand side.Stable House is half a mile from these landmarks.Follow the road toward St Andrews to the end of the village . 200 yards outside the village there is a right hand turn.This rural lane has a sign for Linnbank Farm and a public footpath sign.
The lane should be driven carefuly mindful of several potholes as well as horses and walkers.
We are 200 yards down the lane on the left hand side drive into the courtyard where you will find Stable House.
FROM STIRLING
Pick up the A91 to St Andrews and drive along the spectacular hillfoots road through the villages of Menstrie,Alva and tillycoultry before arriving in Dollar then the centre of the village Bridge Street.
FROM GLASGOW EDINBURGH OR THE SOUTH
Head for the Kincardine Bridge,once crossed to the north bank take the A977 towards Kinross. Some 7 miles later take a left onto the B913 signposted to Dollar.At the T-junction in Dollar turn right towards St Andrews and you are in Bridge Street
FROM PERTH
M90 south to Kinross. Pick up the A91 to Stirling through the villages of Carnbo,Yetts o' Muchart and pool of Muchart .200 yards before the village of Dollar turn left into the rural lane signposted as a public footpath and for Linnbank farm.
